to perm or not to perm

hi ladies
was reading on here last night there was a lady who had a perm. i havent heard of anyone doing that for years!!!
i quite fancy the idea of a change. has anyone any experience of modern perms or know what it looks like now a days.

According to my hairdresser they are making a BIG comeback. Although the one to ask for is a digital perm??? Dunno what it is but is the best around and you can have big tumbling curls with it rather than frizzy lizzy. Just Google for pics x
