I'm usually a lurker here but coming out of the woodwork to see if any of you have any ideas! I'm going to a wedding at the beginning of April and racking my brains over what sort of thing to wear due to the time of year. It's a church wedding followed by a hotel reception that's within walking distance. Jacket or cardigan? What sort of shoes?
I'd rather buy something I can wear in the future - am just going back to work after mat leave so don't have money to burn. My go-to shop for this sort of thing is Whistles but I'm not very inspired by any of the appropriate dresses they've currently got in. I wouldn't want to spend more than £150.
I'm a fairly easy shape to get dresses for - size 8-10, a bit pear-shaped but not excessively so, smallish boobs although breastfeeding so need a dress I can pull down/take off to express in without much hassle.
What do you think?
