Creme de la Mer

Hi, any experiences of Creme de la Mer that anybody would like to share? I have just started a new job and am thinking of treating myself to some. I have very dry skin. I used to use Eve Lom TLC cream which was fantastic until they changed the formulation Angry.

I had the lip balm as a gift, I think it's about 35 quid for a tiny pot. I wasn't impressed.

I use cracked heel cream on my face, lips elbows etc. Works a treat for me, but if you're looking something expensive as a real treat www.templespa.com/ may have what you want without breaking the bank.

I am just coming to the end of my pot of Creme de la Mer. A friend bought it for me (lovely friend, I know) after yet another flare of my autoimmune condition. It didn't live up to the hype for me, although my friend swears by it.

My poor skin has taken such a battering this last year, I really wanted it to work miracles but I was disappointed. My skin still felt stressed.

I loved the Boots Original Beauty Formula range, it was so soothing on my skin, but it was discontinued. I am nursing the last of my damask rose skin tonic, the replacement just doesn't match up. Sad

I found it v disappointing, eve Lom cleanser works great for me, really sorts my skin out, don't like any of the Eve Lom moisturisers though. I found that if I use the Cleanser I usually didn't need to use a moisturiser .

I've just started using the Astalift range by Fujifilm. Creme de la mer didn't live up to the hype for me, but Astalift is really making a difference. It's quite expensive, but not in the same league as Creme de la Mer.

I love Creme de la Mer, and buy it as often as I can. However, when I can't afford it, I go for Elemis Marine Cream or something by Germaine de Cappucini. here

and btw, the "ask the expert" on that site is really good. I wrote to them and they responded with a personalised email, giving me lots of advice and options. I was impressed as it really felt they had taken the time to think of my questions.

I gave my much coveted jar of creme de la mer away after a couple of days. It didnt suit my skin at all and stung like hell.

For really dry skin I've found nivea soft in the big tub to be the best. Ive spent a fortune on pricey brands and am astounded that the cream that has given me smooth skin is £2 a pot!
