Fat legs and boots - help!

I have a pair of long, suede boots that I want to wear this weekend. The problem is that I haven't worn them for a long time and my calves seem to have doubled the size since I last wore them. I am struggling to do up the zip.

Are they a lost cause? Is there anything I can do as a one-off-emergency fix or should I be searching for some stretchy ones?

Can you help?

I find it easier to do up stubborn zips if I l lie on my back and stick my legs up in the air - gravity makes the fat fall to my knees Perhaps if you can manage to do them up then wear them around the house for a while they'll stretch in time for the weekend?

Try running a pencil along the zip as well to ease it. And then stick your legs in the air etc as above

Ooh good tips, I will try that!

Thanks!
