Do you mean lip pencils, as in lip liners? Or products like the Chubby Stick?

MrsB - like chubby stick - do you recommend it?

I have this one which I love. www.narscosmetics.co.uk/color/lips/lip-pencils/velvet-matte-lip-pencil/never-say-never. The colour is not perfect for me so need to try a different shade but the product is gorgeous.

Just stay away from Nars glossy pencils.
Bleed like the bugger.

Those chubby sticks are OK - but rather expensive for what they are.

I have heard that the Revlon equivalent are good (Revlon make up very goos in any case).

REvlon are good, wearing one now,
there's another brand coming out with them - forgot which one, but available in Boots soon.

I have a couple of Chubbies, one 'original' and one high impact one. The original formulation is very sheer and wears off easily; I used the entire pencil in the space of 2 months, because I had to reapply 7 times or so when I wore it. But I love my high impact one, the formula seems to be more adhesive. Had it on last night and it held up well through burger eating and wine drinking. But they are expensive!

I also have a couple of the No 7 Poppy King lip crayons, the colours are lovely & only £6 if you use a No. 7 voucher.

Topshop lip crayons are also very good, I have 'Royal', lovely daytime red with good staying power.

I recommend the ones HandMini linked to. They're brilliant and last ages.
