Ok, I am happy with my foundation (YSL Touche Eclat), but would love a nice setting powder. Nothing too glittery but nothing chalky. Something that just gives me that total "polished" look. I'm thinking Guerlain Meteorites pressed powder, but it is £34!!! Anything cheaper out there?

Give Max Factor Facefinity a try. I swear by it. Around £10.50 in Tesco/Boots, etc

Thank you swavesey- I used it as a powder foundation many years ago and seem to remember it being quite nice. It probably would go on even better with a brush. I shall pick some up at the weekend!

Is FaceFinity a foundation? I just googled it and it looks like it might go on quite 'cakey' ?

Shoeprincess, I'm after the same thing! Have found my perfect foundation by mixing MAC StudioFix with L'oreal primer, but am after a light powder to take the shine off my nose & chin. The L'Oreal True Match one is quite good, although I think it's supposed to be an all in one, I found it quite sheer.

I use the Clinique transparent loose powder. It lasts all day. You can get one with a slight shimmer which I think is flattering and makes me look younger Hmm

Bobbi Brown looks natural and make my makeup last all day. Not cheap but lasts for ages and has a nice mirror compact.
