I have fallen into the messy bun or ponytail trap and it must stop! I have just passed shoulder length highlighted layered hair and a 9 month dd, so I need to tie it up. I need some good style advice please!

what about getting a doughnut from boots - the difference in how i think i look with a messy bun and one done with a doughnut is huge! looks really neat and tidy and takes 2 seconds! you could also try going on youtube and searching for overnight curls/waves and its not too much of a pain especially because in the morning when you wake up its done!

I have v long curly hair and its always, always up in a messy bun. Looks dulllll and I'm bored. However, I'm also all thumbs so rather shit at this hair malarkey anyway.

Loads of ideas on this blog. Also go into YouTube and search for a channel called letsmakeitup1 - it's this sweet American chick who does lovely messy updos, braids, loose curls etc.

That blog is fab thank you! My hair's a bit shorter than hers so I can't do all the styles, but some great ideas.
