I'm looking for volume but no smudging. I've read good reviews so thought I'd try it. I can't get on with 2000 calorie it clumps & smudges on me.

Tried it quite a long time ago & wasn't that impressed tbh. For absolutely guaranteed no smudging but with good volume you need Clinique Lash Power!

Yes, the black tube is fantastic imo, been using it for ages. The gold tube is for a more natural look.

I just bought the blck tube the other day and its really good.

Love it. Better than more expensive brands IMO

Yes, it's pretty good, you can get quite dramatic lashes if you build it up or stick to a more natural look. I'm really liking the new Maybelline Mascara thought (think it's called The Rocket, in a blue tube). I'm not normally a fan of their stuff but it's not clumpy at all and really lengthens my lashes. Plus it was on special offer in Boots and Superdrug...

Thanks everyone, I will give the black tube a try.

It's really nice for lengthening and separating. If it's volume you're after I'd try the False Lash Effect one instead.

I have liked it in the past! Currently using a max factor mascara but not this one!
