Talk to me about trainers.....

What do you think of these?

Too blingy?? I'm not wholly convinced by the 'champagne' colour but these are the right style of shoe and roughly the right price. I'm about to go on maternity leave and want some trainers to replace my old converse, in anticipation of lots of spring/summer pram walking. Any other suggestions on where to look? Or am I best just buying new converse again!

I really like them. I have some similar from French Connection bought a few years back. Wore them today actually for the first time in ages and remembered how much I love them.

I like them! I did once buy the Boden lace up pumps in crushed velvet and they were great for about 3 weeks until the (thin, flimsy fabric) lining wore a hole and the hard grainy rubber started rubbing my heel - they went back in the end.

I've just replaced my Converse all stars with a pair of fabric one-stars, but would have liked the suede one-stars. These ones you've linked to are lovely though, quite like the idea of the champagne/pewter/silvery colour...
