That tip about getting a closer shave with going in all directions is amazing.

Previously I was just a "up" shaver

i figured this out only fairly recently, it has changed my life (well my pits anyway )

I do that anyway (old news) you shallow armpit worrier.

ooh do share! i currently shave downwards - have I been doing it wrong

I do down, then ... up feels like i get every single little sticky-out-every-which-way hair, its defo smoother anyway !

Would this work on other areas?

oh yeah I do that and then sudocrem to make sure the skin is all lovely too

Oh yes, have always done that and it really does work. Think I read it in one of my mum's magazines when I was a teenager!

Hot Wax is the way.
Yes you need to know the direction of hair growth but few things in life as satisfying as whisking those follicles out with a hot wax strip.

I thought everyone did it? Also go from left to right :)

Or epilate which is MUCH better!

I've always shaved my pits in all directions. Does this mean I am cutting edge in the pit area?

I'm not so hairy to do epilation. Plus am wuss.
