THE most crap hair colour I have ever used so don't fall for the hype!!!!

Took thirty mins (much longer than my normal brand) and has left me with partially covered roots ie hasn't fully covered greys!

Has left my hair feeling dry and parched.

Don't touch the stuff.....am peed off with crap product that has taken its toll on my hair and wasted an hour of my time for terrible results.
It has left me with results similar to a semi permanent but worst of all is the damage it has done to my hair!!!

I want my money back.....perfect 10 I'm sorry I doubted you!!!!

thanks for the heads up, will give that one a swerve - which colour were you going from/to?

Jammygal · 03/02/2013 21:26

I always do mine a darkish brown in the winter and on this occasion went for number 4 dark brown.

I didn't like it either, but really because there wasn't enough to do all my hair and it didn't take very well on my grey bits.

MikeLitoris · 03/02/2013 21:31

I do sils hair with it and dont rate it at all.

Her hair looks very dull.

She used to use a feria one and her looked loads better.

Jammygal · 03/02/2013 21:32

Sorry Abigail.....honestly feel its not worth time/effort/money though ;(

Oh, it's horrible. There didn't seem to be much in the bottle, it's done something odd when colouring my roots, and my hair felt greasy and oily for the next few days. Definitely not buying that again!

Abigail9580 · 03/02/2013 21:37

Just glad I read this before I did it!! I'm not having much luck with hair dye tbh. I've never really done home dying, the last colour I picked has turned me a mousy brown- the colour I was trying to get rid of!

OrchidFlakes · 03/02/2013 21:37

OMG I was going to buy it tomorrow! So grateful for the heads up - any recommendations for other colour?

Jammygal · 03/02/2013 21:41

I think Perfect 10 is the best I have used for good grey coverage, lasting colour and reasonable shine etc.

Also it has the HUGE bonus of only taking ten minutes!!!!

I still love nice and easy
It's easy and , ummm, nice! :)

starfleet · 03/02/2013 21:43

I've used this too and wasn't impressed. It didn't cover the grey and left my hair feeling horrible - the conditioner was crap and hair felt greasy after I'd used it. It was too thin and dripped everywhere, colour was very dense and flat. Awful stuff - I went back to perfect 10 sharpish!

CauDyGeg · 03/02/2013 21:45

Is this the one that comes in an odd shaped squeezy bottle?

thisisthestory · 03/02/2013 21:48

I use L'Oreal Casting semi permanent - I have Olia sitting on my bathroom shelf and will swerve it big time now!

Is L'Oreal Preference any good? Hairdresser says L'Oreal is best for colour.

Jammygal · 03/02/2013 21:51

That's right cau !
Forgot to mention bottle shape is crap too and you are supposed to wedge it in the side of the box so it doesn't fall over.

This didn't work as box broke and it fell through the cardboard.

Bottle could easily tip over and make a lovely mess!

I used it a week or so ago and really liked the result. I have a fair amount of greys, which were all covered well and it left my hair soft and shiny. The conditioner did leave my hair a bit slimy feeling but I just chucked it out and now that I've used my own it's fine. I tried Nice & Easy and it wrecked my hair and didn't cover the grey properly at all. John Freida foam one, even worse. So, I guess different strokes for different folks.

thisisthestory · 03/02/2013 21:57

Nice and Easy is the work of the devil. I ended up with ginger roots and black ends. Had to get dye remover to sort it out. Awful.

Maebe · 04/02/2013 14:21

I always use L'Oreal Preference, or at least I did before I started experimenting (unsuccesfully) with reds - I find Preference's Brasilia a gorgeous rich, deep brown that lasts a while. Plus you put it on to dry hair, and I hate putting dye on to wet hair, it makes it so much harder to see where you've dyed!

ElectricSoftParade · 04/02/2013 14:30

Horrid stuff. My hair was as dry as straw and my greys just didn't seem to be covered but the worst was the condition of my hair. A friend used and had the same results.

Back to Nice and Easy for me again!
