Yes it probably is but...I've had highlighted hair for yearssssss, and last year went red. Like poppy red/pillar box, which I love.

But as the old blonde is growing out obviously the red isn't taking as well anymore and I've basically got a two tone problem. It's the right colour where the peroxide was but the rootage is looking well dodgy. It needs a good cut anyway so I have to get to a hairdresser soon and I know I can have the roots re-done but I think I'd prefer a total stripping back to blonde then put the red back on. Will this completely ruin my hair? It just seems so much easier than faffing about with roots.
