Help, I need an outfit!

I'm stressing!! Going to a fundraising event in two weeks, its my first night out in over a year due to several issues such as finances, weight gain and lack of babysitters!
Anyway I have been so busy looking forward to it I hadn't thought of what to wear until yesterday
when other attendees started discussing what they were wearing, their new outfit, where they were getting their hair and tan done etc!
So now I'm panicking! I had in the back of my mind I would wear either my jeans and a smart top or the dress I wore on my last night out but I can't get into my jeans and I feel my dress just isn't right for this night Sad
So I'm a big size 14 and pretty skint, can anyone suggest a cheap outfit for a charity night in a bowling club where most of the others are slim middle class SAHMs???

Ah, we'll get you sorted!

Is there a dress code? What's your shape / colouring? Budget?

notMarlene · 02/02/2013 22:14

LBD (the model is 5'9"), red shoes, clutch

That's pretty!
Colouring - pale brunette
Shape - hourglass
Budget - as little as possible! Less than £30 would be ideal!

And I'm 5'4 on a good day!

Less than 30 for the dress or everything?

more casual? polka dot dress, flats, opaques

For an outfit, I could make do or borrow any accessories I needed?

Like the polka dot dress but I'm quite big chested so find higher necklines make me look like I have a shelf!

dress, flats, coloured tights, slim scarf tied thus and a slim belt. Should be doable for 30 quid if you can borrow some bits.

Nice dress - and cheap!
I have black flats like that already and I have both pink and purple rights too.
Going to head to shops today to see if I can get it and if not shall order it online
Thanks!
