I have this dress en route to me from the states, and these shoes but as my nephew's wedding is in April, I think I may need something to keep me warm. Do I? And if so what?

Would this be just plain wrong?

Hello again!

I think it would look fine with the dress, but sometimes in April it's not that cold so you may be a bit too hot in it. Maybe a thinner jacket would be better?

Hello Panda! Thanks. You may well be right. I'm just struggling to envisage which sort of shape would look right with it Confused

How about something like this from Mint Velvet? I think it should be fitted and shortish so you don't lose the shape of your dress.

But what do I know, I can't even find a top to wear with jeans! Grin

Thanks panda, I think that sort of a shape would work, with a bit more of a vintage feel. I'll have another look for your top!

Fab dress Grin

I think yours is great but it's for outdoors surely isn't it? Is that what you're after or would you like to be able to wear it indoors too? this could work. this?

Thanks notMarlene, it looks great- just hope it fits! Yes I was thinking for between the mairie (wedding in Brittany) and the reception. I love the Biba stole you linked to, thank you!
