Would your DC wear the Stella McCartney Red Nose Day t shirts?

I like them. I'm thinking of buying them for my nieces. I'm just worried that they will wonder who the Beatles are or even Kate Moss! The baby one is really cute. www.tkmaxx.com/stella-mccartney-t-shirts-for-red-nose-day/icat/9494

Why isn't the giraffe one in bigger child sizes Sad . My DD2 loves giraffes.
Other than that none of them appeal to me for DDs.

Lighthousekeeping · 31/01/2013 23:11

I think it went up to aged 10 originally. It is very child friendly. Unlike the sodding Beatles! Smile

Sad She's 8. Only up to size 5-6 now. She would have loved it.

janji · 01/02/2013 00:16

Loved the giraffe one too. Have ordered dd (aged6) and ds (aged9) a red and a white Tommy Cooper one. Think they'll like the design of a funny looking man in giant glasses more than the Beatles?!

Startail · 01/02/2013 00:21

I want an Adult sized giraffe non of the others appeal at all.

DH fancies Kate Moss, so that one is defitely out.

Lighthousekeeping · 01/02/2013 06:29

I bet a lot of them are gone by today. I wonder what the quality is like?

They are quite good quality cotton. DS had the Morecambe & Wise one a few years ago and loved wearing it. Debating whether to get him the Tommy Cooper one this time.

thesnootyfox · 01/02/2013 09:32

Ds2 would wear the giraffe one, ds1 might wear it although he is 8 so might think it is a bit babyish. Ds1 wouldn't wear any of the others because they aren't current they don't mean anything to him.

Lighthousekeeping · 01/02/2013 11:09

Funnily my nieces would know Morecambe and Wise as their teacher "makes" them watch their shows at school.

They aren't fans of Kate Moss as she's too skinny and "takes drugs" I don't know how to explain iconic to them if that's what they think!

Probably but I don't think I'd buy them, I don't like them at all and would rather just give a donation.

pocketandsweet · 01/02/2013 11:28

Anyone know how the sizing comes up.... My 7 year old would probably love the Giraffe

Lighthousekeeping · 01/02/2013 11:32

The donation is £6-8 so it's not much more to buy one. I like the red.

My nieces still dont get that just because something is for one day it doesnt mean you cant wear the item at other times or, say, for bed. It annoys me really!! I bought them Halloween tshirts from the states once and they literally wore them on that day and, they never came out again!

My DCs have Beatles Rock Band on the Wii so they're quite Beatles-minded, they'd like them.

Snowkey · 02/02/2013 17:05

Would rather give a donation than fill the house with more crap.

Lighthousekeeping · 04/02/2013 19:34

I took a risk and the love them! Except they are arguing over Marilyn Monroe. They just can't take to Kate Moss. They must be good quality or else my sister would have text to say he's taking them back Smile
