Touché éclat doesn't cut the mustard anymore ......

My under eye shadows are determined to be noticed even with a layer of touché éclat followed by foundation on top.

Anyone know of a good concealer for the under eye area?

Mr Light by Givenchy. Such a hidden secret! It is sooooo better than touché éclat!!!! I think it's around £20 but it's honestly amazing

IsabelleRinging · 01/02/2013 12:35

I think you should try applying your concealer after your foundation, if you apply before it will just get rubbed off an smudged around when you put your foundation on.

Ohh, that's an interesting idea isabelle, will give it a go tomorrow morning!

I always do mine after foundation. Then cream blusher, dust of powder, gorgeous Grin

Well, at least looking better than knackered old crone with young children that I am....

MarianForrester · 01/02/2013 19:52

Oh, and then the rest of my make up, of course, that's a whole other thread Smile

It's amazing now that I'm middleaged (eek,,sad but true) and I'm 43 , just how much longer it takes to look half decent and the fact that I now never ever leave the house without make up on!!

Getting old is crap......

After all the great advice here I splashed out on some Benefit Erase Paste.

Very very excellent.

Am also trialling some high end foundations. Clinique and Double wear by EL.

Both gorgeous so don't know which to choose! Think I prefer Clinique as an overall brand, it's a bit younger than EL? (I am only 43!!)

Any advice?

is the triangle concealer trick. I recomend it so often I have it bookmarked.

This will make so much difference, regardless of what concealer you use. (Though don't try it with a highlighter pen, like Touche Eclat).

NARS radiant creamy something or other. Can never remember the name but it's amazing - new this year.

BaconAndAvocado · 25/06/2013 17:57

gobblers that looks v good, I think there were instructions in the Erase Paste box, which I have now thrown away, so thanks for link Smile

oh foundation advice - try YSL Teint Eclat. extraordinary.

greyvix · 25/06/2013 18:06

What do you wear on top of By Terry? I love it, but don't wear foundation, so it tends lo kook white. I have porcelain, which maybe is too light?

justasecond · 25/06/2013 21:45

Please can someone link to the By Terry one? I might upgrade from the ysl one I have used since I was 22 (am now 37).

polyhymnia · 25/06/2013 21:56

This is the By Terry one

Another vote here for this and all her products. Well worth the money and last for ages.

I'd go into a Space NK and get advice on the right colour and what if anything to put on with it.

JennySense · 25/06/2013 22:18

I get great results from LilyLolo's Peepo - it's a powder you brush under your eye.

justasecond · 25/06/2013 22:55

Thanks Poly. Its expensive but I suppose not loads more than the Ysl. Will def try it when my current one finishes.
