I've used Colour B4 a couple of times in the past but not to remove black dye. Anyway, i suggest you get the extra strength one. You must follow the instructions to the letter, especially the rinsing part. Its time consuming but worth it. It may leave you with gingery tones. You can tackle this buy applying an 8 wash (one bottle) dye, the clairol ones, in Light ash brown, buy this the same time as CB4. This should take your hair to a lightish coppery brown. At this stage i would leave your hair for a couple of weeks- DO NOT apply a permanent colour for at least 4 weeks after using CB4 - it will send your hair dark again. You can use a semi -permanent one, after using CB4, but choose a colour 2 shades lighter than what you want so you don't risk going too dark. hth! x

If you do a search on here, loads of people have used it in the past.

From what I can remember, don't re-dye it yet, as your hair will grab the colour and you'll be black again.

Good luck :)
