I have a work 'do' in April, which will be the first one in the last 5 years where I won't be pregnant, breast feeding, exhausted or enormous!
I have finally managed to shift the weight and want to feel really special but have no idea where to start looking for dresses as I have spent the past few years just trying to find something non-hideous for less than £70 that will enable me to blend into the background.
I am 5'7" and a size 10 - 12 (10 with big breasts so depends on fit of dress IYSWIM?). I am drawn to long dresses but would like to be able to dance at the end if the evening so prob no fishtails. I have classic Celtic colouring- pale skin, very dark hair and blue eyes so very much a 'winter' (!) in colour terms!
I have been looking at the Biba dresses in House of Fraser which look lovely, but poss a bit boring? There is a Jaaon Wu dress in Matches (can't link as on phone but is navy, silk, full length and costs £2, 165 so NOT a goer!) but those are the kind of things I think I am looking for, although I really am just a big lost?
Budget is prob up to £300 if I twist DH's arm....
Thank you in advance for your collective wisdom!
