M &S. bra fitting

They appear to have caught on to the fact that their way of measuring was wrong...finally. I've just been in to buy new bras for my daughter and the lady said they've been sent a new training video advising them to fit by eye and measure the back size without adding on 4 or 5 inches.
Took them long enough!

Blimey!!!! Which M&S was this?

I did read somewhere that a bra blogger had written to M&S head office and had been assured that they were aware that adding 4/5" was incorrect. Which begs the question, why hadn't they passed that info down to the shop floor?

Their bras and fitting is awful IMHO

Merry Hill store. The staff were very helpful but the lack of bras in a 28 back for my daughter is another thread! Trying to get a 28B was ridiculous.

Let's hope they start making bras in size 28D then.... I had some great advice from Sorrel recently about bra fitting but it was a hellish job actually finding a bra in the right size...

I have tweeted M&S about the dismal lack of choice in a 28 back and their answer was to offer the next day delivery service. My point is that there were plenty of 30 and 32s in stock but very few in a 28. It's their Angel range specifically designed for first bras so why so few 28s.

No way! Finally! Lets hope this gets down to the rest of the M&S shop floors as quickly as possible. They are ridiculously poor at fitting bras and are single-handedly responsible for most women in this country wearing the wrong size bras!
