Break it down - £20 a week gets it for you by next Christmas - do a few small things such as dropping the coffee habit (if you have one), buy one less bottle of wine a week, stop buying fashion mags (added bonus of not getting distracted by anything else!), better phone contract?????

I prefer the medium size to the large. Unfortunately it's also ruinously expensive.

The medium in blue has been on my wish list for a year and still no bugger has taken the hint and bought it for me - I even put it on pinterest and said 'ideal gift' and still DH just ignores me.

Not sure i should post this but umm i just bought that bag. But in a different colour (which you prob wouldn't like!). Hasn't arrived yet as did it online so will arrive in a few days. I was actually looking for a balenciaga city but they're not doing it in colours I like this season and stumbled on the Marcie.

My lovely sister has that bag in red - it is gorgeous! She also got the matching purse for christmas. Agree about eBay - sold buggies and baby furniture and made close to 1000 plus 300 at an NCT sale recently.

The Balenciaga city I really want is the bright blue or green one but they don't appear to do those anymore. I am toying with the mango.

I tend to use colourful bags for work or going out (which is what this is for). I tend to use my brown bags casually.

I went to the harvey nics sale at christmas time and considered a chloe but i didnt like the leather.

I used to love Chloe bags and I do love the look of this one, I just don't feel like the quality matches the price. That's getting to be true of all designer bags nowadays.
