Intimissimi sizing experience anyone?

I've been searching for a long time for a small bra that is not a teen or 'trainer' bra. No luck anywhere. A local independent advised me to look for Italian or French brands as she said they tend to come up narrower than uk brands. So, the smallest band size is shown as a '1' which the site says is comparable to a uk 32". I reckon I need a 28" band and a or maybe b cup, hence the difficulty tracking any 'grown up' bras down!
So, the question really is, has anyone bought from Intimissimi and do they come up really small in the band (probably clutching at straws)! And if not, does anyone have any other ideas of where I can look?!

La redoute might be worth a look, they have 28a - I have seen 28 inch back in shops - Debenhams, House of Frasers.

Yes, they do come up small. I love intimissimi and used any excuse to go to Italy or Madeira to stock up! Now they are online in the uk im v happy. I take a uk 32 to 34 a/b and take a size 2 in their bras. The pants are on the small side also. You may need to order a few to try because of the different styles but im sure that you will find something.

I m a 34 a/b and love intimissimi- have shopped them in Barcelona / Madrid ususally. I do try in in store, I would say they are for a petite shape - kindof small European sizing if that makes any sense HTH

Thanks. I'm going to Spain soon and there seem to be stores near where we're going so think I'll try and get to one so I can try on before buying. Will check La Redoute out later. I've usually found that the 28" backs in debenhams and hof are in larger cup sizes but will check again, thanks for the suggestions.

If you are going to Spain and are near an under colors of benetton try them too. Size 1 should fit you.
