Can anyone recommend a good hairdresser in Central Edinburgh? My s-i-l is getting married in June and I want to book myself and m-i-l in somewhere for a blow dry on the Saturday morning of the wedding?
Thanks

Until I moved out of town I was going to Angus Gordon on Frederick St. It's up a set of stairs so easy to miss if you don't know it's there. I'd recommend them, they can be busy but really friendly. I always got great cuts and highlights there.

Charlie Miller has very central locations just off Princes Street, one on Frederick Street and one on South St Andrew Street. I've always found them to be really good. This is their website, you can book online which is really handy.

I would second Charlie Miller, I have been going to Stafford Street for over 10 years and they are fab. Good for put ups and blow dries for weddings!

I had my wedding hair (and bridesmaids) done at JFK Hair - there's a branch on Clerk St and one on Bruntsfield Place. They were lovely, everyone looked great, and they were brilliant about the timekeeping - out exactly on schedule.

I would third Charlie Miller - been going there for 20 odd years, I go to Laura at Stafford Street.
