Bra experts, what size to try next?

Calling bra experts! I've recently ordered a whole load of bras and had to send them all back :( I'm currently wearing 32Es and have been fitted at that size in Bravissimo, JL and Debenhanms for the last 6yrs or so not including pregnancy when I was 34FF. When I try them on most feel too tight on the band, give 4 boob or flatten. 32F cups are too big, can't fasten a 30 band. My measurements are 31.5/36. I think my old ones fit because they're stretched but they feel too loose now.

I found that some makes fit me and some don't, regardless of size on the label. How many different makes have you tried?

Loads! Most recently fantasie(probably the best around the band), panache, curvy Kate and something I found on brastop.com - can't remember now but it was a scalloped edge tshirt bra.

Maybe try a 30F? The band won't feel so tight with a bigger cup.

I had a similar problem, in that i had been measured and still didn't have well fitting bras. I went into m&s when I had plenty of time available, and took in a massive selection of bras -every combination I could from 32C - 36E. I spent about an hour in there! But finally have great bras.

Read up about bra fitting beforehand. I just remembered this:

  1. When putting bra on, fasten then lean forward and scoop your boobs forward so they fit in the cup properly.
  2. The band should be straight across your back when fastened at the widest clasp.
  3. The wire should be against your ribcage -no space
  4. Same with the bit between the boobs -should be flat against chest

Try CK, Freya, Elle McP and Stella McCartney. I find the Stella and CK a great fit. Freya won't fit me in any size.

I'd try Freya or Bravissimos own brand
If you want lift the Satine (bravissimo) is a great plunge bra but I found I needed to go up a cup size
