What to look for in jeans material to avoid sagging?

Hi
I'm going shopping today hopefully for some skinny jeans. As I am currently between a 12 & 14 I've been finding it hard to find anything thats not too tight or that goes baggy after an hour.
What material combinations should I look for to avoid them going baggy i.e should I try and avoid elastane?
Thanks

Sorry, I don't know the answer! I am the same size as you and would get the 12, even if they are too tight.

Half an hour later they will have relaxed and be much more comfy. If you get the 14's they will most likely bag

M&S Five pocket jeggings. Seriously the best jeans I've found! (They are not actually jeggings!)

Agree with the above post. These wrongly named jeggings are great but buy a 12 otherwise you will find them baggy. So comfy too.

Premium denim (reasonably priced on sale) and low lycra content.
Have you ever taken a close look at lycra fibers - nothing looks more cheap.
Buy very snug.

I've gotten years of sag-free wear from my pairs of MiH and 7FAM jeans. If they start to droop a bit, a wash restores them to their former glory.

Cotton and polyurethane (2%) is also a fantastic mix if you don't want a super-close fit (=good for straight leg, bootcut and kick-flare jeans).

I've given up with my M&S jeggings - they bag at the knees and bum now I've washed them a few times. I am a 12-14 in jeans and they are the 14 which is probably why. My lovely M&S Autograph skinnes stay tight in a 12

Oh and in jeans, inch sizing is much more accurate and flattering generally than dress sizing. I'd probably be between sizes but 29" is perfect on me.

I love the skinny jeans/jeggings from Fat Face. They fit like a dream and keep their shape brilliantly.

Thanks everyone, I am back from the shops with no jeans! The problem I have is that I can't generally even do a 12 up so it would be pointless buying them but if I go to the 14 they are too big on waist and look too big around bum, but at least I can comfortably do them up.

I tried gap skinnies and the 30/30 was pretty close but once I got them done up I could barely move or breathe!

I also looked in tk maxx for 31's but they didn't have any. The search continues or maybe I just need to get on and shift left over baby weight!

Gap jeans stretch SO much. I bet after half an hour in the skinnies they would have been absolutely fine.
