Next questin: ballet flats?

Bear with me, I'm clueless.

Are ballet flats still a reasonable everyday style to wear with skinnies? Or will I look like a librarian? (sorry librarians, just fishing for a stereotype).

Too cold for ballet shoes, brrr! I'm wearing wedge trainers with mine still.

Yup still too cold, I still wear mine with skinnies.

I'm a librarian and, whilst I do sometimes wear ballet flats (in the spring not in January!), I've never noticed that they were ubiquitous amongst my profession. I've probably seen more primary teachers wearing them.

I'll be reverting to my uniform of skinnies or cuffed trousers with ballet flats come April-ish - for now it's all about boots.
