Been using mac primer on and off but not sure I like it and wondered what other people use.

Turquoiseblue · 25/01/2013 03:26

Laura mercier one is lovely but ££££
Barbara daly tesco one s been recommended lots on here too

IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 25/01/2013 05:30

I use mac too. Tried another but went back to mac.

ohfunnyhoneyface · 25/01/2013 05:41

Smash box!

I switched from mac and love it!

novelsituation · 25/01/2013 06:25

Not keen on Benefit stuff generally, but do like the Pore Professional primer.

QuinnFabray · 25/01/2013 07:18

MAC, but only the spf 50 one. It's the only primer I've tried that stops my foundation from sliding off my face.

Cybbo · 25/01/2013 07:41

Avon skin perfector(?) I think that's what it's called

Stops any shine, minimises huge pores and goes on like a whispy dream

valiumredhead · 25/01/2013 08:24

Barbara Daly flawless primer is fantastic!

Kittycatcat · 25/01/2013 22:43

I use Estée Lauder idealist pore minimiser serum. Makes my skin feel amazing.

Arisbottle · 25/01/2013 22:45

Laura Mercier which is actually cheaper than the benefit pore professional which is also good.

poorbuthappy · 25/01/2013 23:07

Not the No7 airbrush away primer. I paid £20 and was ripped off.

IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 25/01/2013 23:14

I wasn't so keen on the no.7 one either...not as good as mac.

timidviper · 25/01/2013 23:16

Smashbox do really good ones. I had used beauty flash but found it didn't fix the foundation that well so switched to Clarins primer but prefer Smashbox

titan · 25/01/2013 23:25

Hourglass veil mineral primer. I really like it but have only just started using recently and it's the only primer I have ever used so don't know how it compares!

EllenParsons · 26/01/2013 02:11

I like mac, smash box and Laura Mercier. On the cheaper end I also find Rommel primer is decent and only about £7!

fourfingerkitkat · 26/01/2013 23:30

Philosophy The Present...think it's about £22 but you get 60ml for that. Best I've used...

IHeartKingThistle · 26/01/2013 23:35

I love the no.7 one but it's the first primer I've ever used. You mean there are even better ones?!

Lexagon · 26/01/2013 23:37

Collection 2000. Seriously. It's about six quid, I've used pretty much every other brand's primer available and none of them come close.

ScooseIsLoose · 26/01/2013 23:40

Lancôme la base is my favourite and I have tried alot!

feellikearubbishmummy · 27/01/2013 00:11

Avon Magix skin perfector

ScooseIsLoose · 27/01/2013 16:46

Don't know what happened there it was meant to say lancome la base

EastRogen · 27/01/2013 16:56

Watching with interest as I have tried loads in the past and none of them were that good TBH. Every time I put them on they just slid off within an hour, so I just don't bother wearing make-up, except on the extremely rare occasion.

zalana · 27/01/2013 17:26

Have used several, Laura Mercier, Benefit and currently using Smashbox, which I would say is my favourite, I tried the Boots No7one which was very disappointing!
