Can anyone recommend the best way to clean silver jewellery?

Silver dip. Cleans all the intricate bits too. Or just the rub on polish. Both Goddards I think. Sold in most supermarkets.

Toothpaste! Honestly. It's by far the best thing. Rub it on with your fingers or some bog roll then rinse. It gets rid of tarnish but won't damage the actual silver. Try it.

Argos, John Lewis, Lakeland do silver polishing cloths, they are cotton that is impregnated with polish and work great for giving a shine but not so good if the jewellery is very intricate. The dip is good if there are lots of nooks, but make sure you rinse afterwards as it can end up discolouring the silver.

We use these in the trade

silver cloth

£2 for a wee one which is fine for rings or chain. Get a bigger one for silverware.
