Mint Velvet

Does anyone have any opinions on Mint Velvet? Quality, fit etc.

I have recently discovered them online and they seem just the sort of clothes/colours I love but would be interested to hear others opinions.

I too have just bought some Mint Velvet items - some good savings in the sale. A few designs seems steered towards hiding my bum, which is always a benefit!

I have their lace back jumper for this season here. I think it's good quality, have only washed it once so far (hand washed) so can't comment on longevity.

I like the look of their stuff, but can't afford most of it, although the jumper was a Christmas treat!

I've just bought a faux fur gilet from them but although I like the look of some of their clothes, lots of them are man made fibres so seem expensive for what they are.

I have bought 2 jumpers, both about £60 maybe? Both apparently ok for machine wash, after first wash, one grew so it would hit my knees if I wore it now, the other lost loads of buttons and got a hole.

I'm not normally this bad at washing...

It's a shame as I like the look of the clothes, but I don't think I'll buy again.

Oh, this was ?18 months ago. Maybe 2 years. Maybe the quality has improved if everyone else has been fine?

I buy 4 or 5 pieces a season and like them, mainly because a lot of the tops are long length and long in the sleeve!
My only gripe is that some of the necklines are quite loose, so if you have a cardi over the top, the neckline sags and doesn't fit snug to the neck.

I have bought several items from MV in recent yrs and TBH the quality is rubbish I sent back a lovely angora pale pink jumper this yr after wearing it only a handful of times the jumper fell apart!

Wont be buying from them anymore.
