Where to go for quality but reasonably priced cross body leather bag

Am looking to buy a quality cross body leather bag, big enough for purse, brolly etc but not messenger bag size - has to be smaller than that but not teeny tiny. Must have leather strap too and not a nylon webbed one. Do not want black or brown. Budget of around £100. Mulberry is my style but can't afford!! Anyone got any ideas?

Hmm. I did see a Mulberry one in a charity shop last week .

I bought an all-leather one (red) from Cath Kidston last year but it's not showing on their website any more.

Was going to say Boden/Joules but their latest ones all seem to have webbed straps. I've ordered the Joules one anyway.

Most of the smaller bags are either high street fake leather or designer prices and over the budget - this maybe?

I got one that matches your description (except it's brown) in T K Maxx. They have other colours too though.

faustina, like the style of some of the mimi bags but bit over my budget. Not keen on the red bags or most of the radley bags. Good tip re txmaxx, had forgotten about that place!

There are some lovely bags in Debenhams at the moment.

I have just bought the standard across the body Radley black leather one from there.

I also got some money off as the Daily hate Mail are doing a 20% off promotion voucher at the moment.

Have you looked at Zatchels? They do nice saddle bags in lots of colours as well as the satchel style

Haven't seen them irl but House of Fraser supposedly stock them - keep meaning to investigate.
Must have a good look through the links as my achey shoulder means I have to use cross bodies. Hard to find one I like.

I picked up a lovely leather cross body bag from a charity shop not long ago. Have had a quick google and the brand & style is Taurus Freestyle.

It looks like it comes in a variety of colours, is big enough for daily essentials and very comfortable to wear.
