Almost frumpy 39 year old needs style inspiration - where shall I look?

I'm due back to work soon having been on maternity leave for nearly a year. I have slobbed about in leggings and long jumper dresses as they are comfy and fit my in between size.
I'd like to start making more effort now am going to work but I am rubbish at buying nice looking clothes and putting things together.

Where would be a good place to look for picture ideas e.g which magazines or websites?

I want to look modern but not too trendy as I'm 39 not 19!

Personally I would pick up all the February magazines and glance through but I like freebies

and of course the blogs (IMO much better for inspiration for casual than for work wear).

I agree with the above. I get lots of inspiration on Pinterest and it has really made me think about what I really like and therefore make less shopping mistakes.
