I have dry skin, am nearly 40 with fine lines. I have used Liz Earle and Neals Yard in the past, which were good but I'm trying to economise as much as possible. Current moisturiser is Body Shop vit E, which just doesn't do the job (water content feels too high).

Any ideas what to try? Is Superdrug any good for moisturiser? I know it's probably not the thing to economise on, but I just can't justify spending £20+ on a moisturiser.

I've spent a small fortune on different moisturisers over the last year. I'm scrapping all of them and going back to NIVEA!!!!!
Should never have stopped using it frankly!

I agree, Q10 from Aldi is great!! I use the night cream day and night, its non greasy, about £2 and make up goes on nicely afterwards. Better than No 7 (IMO)

I have been using either Aldi or Lidl moisturiser for a couple of years now and honestly can't tell the difference between these and the £££ one I used to use.

I like Nivea, I find it soaks in quickly and doesn't cause any rashes etc which some moisturisers do on my skin. I'd imagine Simple moisturisers are good, not tried any yet, but I love their shampoo and conditioner which can both be found in Poundland!

DM swears by Olay and has been using it daily for the last 36 years and she has really nice skin with hardly any lines despite the fact she used to smoke for years and sunbathe a lot without sunscreen lucky cow

I have the same skin type and am also the same age as you. I also thought the body shop vit E cream is too watery and I don't rate the aloe vera one. But I think the natrulift firming moisturiser is one of the best creams I've ever used. It's very rich without being greasy and feels very extensive. It's also on offer for 8 pounds and you can get 40%off online with the code ENDS.

How about adding a few drops of rosehip oil to what you currently use?
