Hi I want someone to make me 4 adult bridesmaid dresses, and wondered Fi anyone could recommend either somewhere to find recommendations or someone in Cheshire or London? Thanks

Liverpool has a market, not in the best area but quite a few specialist dress makers have stalls in the inside section, I am sure if you ring the numbers in the link below they would put you in touch

The market is big and you have to go early as its all o=ver by 2.30, loads of M&S. next and other top brands at very good prices.

Go to Berwick Street in Soho. It is full of fabric stores and the owners will happily recommend dressmakers. Do you have a design/pattern in mind or are you looking for someone to design & make?

I can recommend either Laura at Seams Sew Easy (look up either Seams Sew Easy or Goldifrocks on Facebook, they have a shop based in Moreton on the Wirral - don't be put off by their 'own design' stuff, they are two sisters who are very able dressmakers, they just have some questionable taste when it comes to their own clothes...) or higher end would be Joanne Fleming, www.joanneflemingdesign.com but she is based in Brighton rather than London - would be more expensive.

If you post on the forums on youandyourwedding.co.uk you should find more recommendations too.
