Tell me about Uniqulo legging trousers?

They were highly recommended on here and they do have a certain appeal, but I don't generally "do" leggings, considering myself slightly too old and chunky of thigh. So, are they worn tight like leggings, or are they basically elasticated trousers? Isn't that all kinds of wrong? What is the fabric like? Stretchy? Thick?

Thank you

Quite thick but not as thick as jeans , not as tight as leggings but a really flattering cut, I'm pregnant just now and thighs are fat and they are really flattering

More like elasticated trousers IMO - but that may be because I am apple shaped so wearing 1 to 2 sizes bigger than my legs need.

Canvas not knit fabric like proper leggings - I have worn skinny jeans which were more stretchy & fitted at the knee.

As slim trousers, though, they are very flattering on the leg (as long as the waist is covered, in my case Grin.

I'm loving the idea of flattering trousers for less than £15, but do they look cheap?

I have some denim ones from last year, they are lovely and really flattering. I have been trying to find the jeans-look ones again, mine had a zip but the ones on the website don't seem to anymore?

They're fantastic and they adjusted the leg length for me for free. I bought dark denim last year I keep just for evenings out and grey for day and both have had lots of comments/ been asked where to get them.
The grey ones went a bit saggy so I got rid of them but I did wear them the whole time as i found flattering when worn with long cardigans.

looseleaf - did yours have a zip fly? Or were they these? shop.uniqlo.com/uk/goods/073545002-69-002-002

I seriously need some more as I live in the two pairs I got last year.

Actually, can anyone help with the size? I usually wear a 10, but have to go to a 12 or sometimes even a 14 if it's anything that "fits" around the thigh. So, my waist is 29in, hips 39in and thigh circumference 22.5in. From their size chart that seems to suggest I need XL for my hips and thighs, but that has really never happened before!

I got a black pair and love them, more trouserey than leggings but nice and stretchy. I don't think they come up small
