Desperate measure needed for straw-like hair! help!

My hair is jaw length and it curls up naturally round the front and top with a bit of help, but the ends of the longer bits at the back just go staright and straw-like. I do blow dry it a bit in a hurry which probably doesnt help.
What fail-safe product can I use to condition those bits and un-frizz them?
Any suggestions welcomed. TIA

I found the Joico K Pak range very good - shampoo, conditioner and intensive mask once week worked wonders on my hair. Try to always use a heat protector spray as well, I use the Aussie Take the Heat protection spray which is usually on offer somewhere !.

Some people on here also recommend Moroccan Oil and Coconut oil - I quite liked the Moroccan oil, but found the Coconut oil dried my hair out.
Hope this helps Smile

Coconut oil worked for dd's long curly hair. she rubbed it in left it on for about 15-20 mins then washed and conditioned as usual.

I second the idea of aussie heat protector spray, in fact the aussie range is generally very good.

I use Philip Kingsley Elasticizer and only need to do it once a month. I had a very unfortunate hair mishap some months ago but this has saved my hair. I bought it on the advice of MNers.
I can't get on with the moroccan oil - caused me to break out.

Me too - I've been trying loads of products and just used the boots naked leave in conditioner. I've only used it once, but my hair kooks the best it has in months.

I have troublesome, wavy dry hair, prone to frizz and split ends, and completely second the Joico k-pak intense rehydration treatment. I put it on, leave it 5 mins, and rinse it out every time I wash. I buy salon size bottles off ebay which last about 9 months. My hair has never been in such good condition before. Not blow drying also helps - makes my hair so shiny.

my dd has frizz/curl which she struggles with, she has had 2 lots of kebelo treatment at my hair dresses and its made such a difference

you might need to sit down at the cost of it!

Don't wash your hair unless you need to, for example if you have a couple days off work and will be staying in just leave it.

Use a decent conditioner and cover the most damaged bits of your hair in lots of it and wrap in a warm towel, leave as long as possible, even overnight if you can. Try and do that at least once a month.

i have fine blonde hair (highlighted) wh goes haystack in moments.

Eevery now and then I do a whole day with any old intensive mask left on, while houseworking which works up a nice hot aura.

Works a treat.
