I have a grey complexion. I look like I need 36 hours sleep. I have dark circles under my eyes. I just look ill.

I need something I can rub on before bed, go to sleep and wake up a new woman.

Now surely that's not too much to ask. So which one of you is keeping the secret miracle cream a secret from me ? why does everyone else look healthier than me. Come on, 'fess up....

Honestly, not sure there is a miracle cream. The best thing to improve your complexion is to improve the quality of nutrients going into your body. Up your good fats (oily fish, nuts), up the water, up the fresh veg and fruit, decrease alcohol and caffeinated drinks. Next best thing is brisk exercise to get blood flowing into your capillaries. Add a gentle scrub. Get more sleep.

I look like that in the depths of winter! Try a spray of fake tan on your face, just a light misting of the Garnier face spray one and the next day I look normal, not grey (and not orange either - just the fair skin one ).
Other than that all that Mom above has said too is true.

Mominatrix - I'm ashamed that all you say is true ! I'm currently doing ww trying to shift the last stone so my diet isn't as good as it should be. And the reason I have another stone to shift doesn't sleep through the night (26 months old) which doesn't help.

I don't drink, I only have two cups of caffeinated coffee a day. I try and fit in one 30 mins couch25k thing a week (not really the idea but...). I've started taking vitamins, and I know I need to drink more water. I munch on almonds during the day and we have fish 2-3 times a week, although maybe not oily enough...

Mumelie - I think fake tan may be a good short term solution. I've not tried the Garnier one. I used to use Clarins Beauty Flash which gave me a temp fix but I fear the last ten years have aged me more than this can cope with now ! And again the Clarins facial tan thing used to work (smelt awful though). I'll check out the Garnier one....

Thanks for the tips !

Oh feel for you with a little one and lack of sleep. I've just lost 1.5 stone with ww which is why I think I'm looking so old and tired in the face!
I don't find you get the smell quite so bad with the spray fake tans. I use it all summer every other day.
