White spots

I have two tiny white dot spots on the skin near my eye, like the milk spots babies get. Anyone know how to get rid of them and what causes them?

TIA

probably milia.

I don't know what causes them.

Prick them out very carefully.

Thank you. Have done some research googled and it seems likely it is that. Exfoliation seems to be the safest way to get rid of it though I'm not looking forward to exfoliating that close to my eye.

Exfoliation won't remove them, you need to break the skin. Either go for a facial or do it yourself with a sterile very fine needle.

(I had terrible milia on my eyelids during my teenage years. I no longer have them anymore, which I'm incredibly thankful for as the removal was painful.)

Will they go away on their own if you leave them eventually or get worse?

fuzzywuzzy · 18/01/2013 09:30

They do eventually go away, it takes time.

I get them ocassionally and I perosnally do not attempt to remove them as too scared I'll end up with scars on my face.

I had few some time ago, not pretty. Mine was a result from using vit E oil around my eyes. Stopped using it and they were gone in 2-3 months. So, maybe look at the products you are using, if to oily bin them.
