yes yes yes and I'm marking my place so if anyone knows of where I can get good quality but reasonably priced ones, I would love to know :)

Ie seen these
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Womens-cream-classic-brogue-shoes-size-3-8-/280904291427?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D4941901547781011466%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D280904291427%26
I doubt the quality is great and I'm not sure if they are chunky enough to be tody rather than twee but I still kinda like them....

I think only the expensive ones like boden look good but it is going to be a one season wonder and so not worth paying too much as they will be everywhere! Difficult to get right cheaply

I had the Clarks ones last spring, I have never had so many people ask about my shoes and all very surprised when I said they were from Clarks (really comfy too with cushioned in soles - I realise this makes me sound approx 95 years old and may actually put people off rather than inspire with my wonderful fashion advice!).

Absolutely. However, I'm incredibly fussy about this kind of shoe as a lot of shoes that call themselves brogues aren't actually made in the correct way. Russell & Bromley make overpriced, badly made ones, in particular.
What I like about cream or white shoes is how well they finish off an outfit.

Last spring, all summer and all through autumn and most of winter, prior to Christmas, I wore virtually nothing else at work alternating between a pair of Robert Clergerie white lambskin oxfords (similar to a pair which have already sold out from Net a Porter!) and a pair of Grenson ''Martha" brogues.

I've already decided that for my birthday this year, I'll be buying a pair of Church's, either in all white, or with a silver or navy trim as I know how much use I'll get out of them.

Anyway, happy shopping for them. Once you find your perfect pair, you'll wonder how you lived without them!

Ooo the church's idea is brilliant!!!
