Sports bra for breastfeeding

Hi all,
I want to join buggyfit, but it says on the website that I need a sports bra. However I need one which allows me to access my boobs easily in case I need to bf dd. can anyone recommend one suitable for this? If it helps, I am quite well endowed in the boobage area!

TIA

Surely I'm not the only mum who needs one of these?!

I'd just feed before tbh.

I know that some of them are front opening - how heavy duty do you need?

You could just wear one or two of your normal nursing bras

Or a crop top type sports bra and join up, or flop boob out the top

Or a heavy duty front opener (don't know how easy it would be to do up?)

Why not ask the Buggy fit people - you can't be the first person to BF...

I've done a variety of running mummy type classes. When I was ebf and bigger than normal (34ff which is massive for me) I wore Enell.
Your breasts cannot move in it, it front fastens and will do for feeding but is not ideal as is quite hard to do up.
This time I'll probably just buy an M&S one and yank it down a bit. Not like wearingenell stopped them shrinking, sagging and stretch marking anyway

Thanks for the replies. I have emailed the buggyfit organiser as well so will see what she says. I don't want to have to feed dd wearing the sports bra but the venue for buggyfit is a fair walk from my house & she's feeding every 3 hrs at the mo so likely will need to....

Hi forgetfulmog. I'm a buggyfit instructor - hope you enjoy your classes. I usually recommend the Anita front fastening sports bra which you can get from www.lessbounce.com. It's not cheap though but a great investment if you're going to be exercising.

It is also totally seriously UGLY but my general rule is if a sports bra looks pretty it's not up to the job!

Ooh thanks Hatcam - I shall have a look! Smile
