What colour goes with emerald?

I have bought my mum a stunning deep emerald blouse from the Monsoon sale for her birthday. I want to buy her a scarf with a pop of colour to go with it. I am not sure what colour to go for though. This is for the spring so I don't want it to look too autumny. Any ideas?

Any shade of purple on the bluer end of the purple spectrum will go well, I would also put rich blues with emerald, pewter would be a good metallic. Or for a real gorgeous clash a deep fuschia or rasperry could look magnificent.

Fuschia sounds nice thank you. Would pretty much any pink go I wonder?

Wouldn't do pale pink I dont think.
Magenta, purple or navy could be nice

Yes, you'd need a strong pink shocking pink would do it, or lipstick, but I would favour deep-bluey pinks the most. Magenta would be fine. I personally wouldn't put navy as an accent with emerald - sapphire would be better, or a bright shade of cobalt. You need something that won't look dull against the emerald particularly as it is satin. It sounds like a lovely present!

I wonder if I could push it further by asking you for a specific link? Grin

these are all plain colours. All the colours coded 'wi' should go with emerald. Hope that gives you some ideas!

Oh these scarves are nice! I think the mulberry will go very nicely. My only concern is that it might be more autumny than spring... Thank you nimin!
