What are your most comfortable knickers?

I've just bought 5 pairs of knickers in the La Senza sale and wore one pair today. I spent the day hoiking them out of my bum, then put them in the bin as soon as I got home. Hmm

I'm sick of wasting money on knickers that I never wear because they are too uncomfortable. So, tell me, what are your most comfortable pants? I don't do thongs. I don't care what they look like, comfort is paramount!

Agree re Sloggi boxer short style, by far the comfiest and seamless etc, I have so many pairs of expensive stupid knickers that I never wear as they are so uncomfortable Confused

landofsoapandglory · 15/01/2013 20:45

these. They are so comfy I forget I am wearing them!

Maraki · 15/01/2013 20:49

White stuff pants are very comfortable, even more so in the sale!

MissBeehivingUnderTheMistletoe · 16/01/2013 08:58

Seamless are the most comfortable.

WowOoo · 16/01/2013 09:17

I got some Hudson's for Christmas and they are the most comfortable knickers I have ever owned.
I think they are pricey per pair. But, I have been wearing them (got 4 pairs) all the time. So far washing well also.
I didn't know knickers could be so comfortable.

Jaeme · 16/01/2013 09:50

Victoria's Secret cotton lingerie hiphugger and bikini are my everyday comfy undies. Not sure how their prices translate here though as I buy mine when in the US

Any of the Debenhams 'invisible' shorts - never buy anything in Debenhams, but when I'm passing I alway have to snap up a few more pairs as usually on a 3 for 2. Debenhams Invisible Shorts even

PartTimeModel · 16/01/2013 10:55

Cotton M&S bikini pants brought in multipack.
I have other knickers - they never get worn apart from the M&S full briefs - ahem - which get an outing under a frock occasionally.

Life is too short to wear uncomfy knickers.

dontyouwantmebaby · 16/01/2013 10:57

another vote for Sloggi seamless knickers here (not the sexiest or the cheapest but they're super comfortable & very well made so keep their shape)

my years of hoiking up uncomfortable knickers are well & truly in the past Blush

Floralnomad · 16/01/2013 11:00

Sloggi , normal knickers, not remotely sexy but so comfortable and wash well and last ages .I replaced all of my other knickers with them last year .

Amen! M&S bikinis seem to be getting lots of votes.

I loved the M&S modal shorts. Seriously, incredibly comfy. So comfy that some days I would have a little panic and think I'd forgotten my underwear as it feels like you're not wearing them.

Then M&S in their wisdom decided that plain modal shorts needed sexing up. They now have a panel of lace down both sides, which has knocked the shape off and is scratchy. I am currently in the process of scouring every M&S nearby in the hopes that they still carry the old range so I can stock up.

The new version.

M&S - not ALL pants need sexing up. Angry Please bring back my comfy pants.

M n S High leg no VPL in a silk stretch material Multi packs

NickECave · 16/01/2013 11:34

Debenhams pack of full briefs (ie granny pants), five pairs for about £7. I'm a size 12 but buy size 14. Every January I buy 3 new packs and chuck out last years Smile

Twinklestarstwinklestars · 16/01/2013 11:48

I got some from m & co they're shorts type ones but lovely and soft and comfy.

jodressy · 27/06/2017 11:11

I used to wear lacy knickers when I was younger but go for comfort now. I bought some lace trim full briefs from Sainsbury's some months ago and they're really comfy, though rather grannyish.

lanouvelleheloise · 27/06/2017 11:15

Unfortunately, there is an inverse relationship between the sexiness of underwear and comfort. The most comfy knickers are big ole granny pants in modal cotton.

Mrs9C · 27/06/2017 12:39

Microfibre, Primark do 3 for £5, they're great!

Thebluedog · 27/06/2017 12:42

Triumph amourette maxi. About 20 quid a pair but they last ages and proper comfy, bit on the big size but pretty with it

ShesAStar · 27/06/2017 12:46

These are the most comfy knickers for me, I wear them every day. They do black and white.

ShesAStar · 27/06/2017 12:47

Also they have no VPL in anything.

Mymouthgetsmeintrouble · 27/06/2017 12:49
