Claire Danes - most gorgeous dress of the night, looked stunning, a month after giving birth too

Naomi Watts - love the colour and the short train

Miranda Kerr - just wow. She looks superhuman!

Anne Hathaway - not keen on dress but she looks great in white

Marion Cottillard - great colour and love the clashing shoes

The only one that made me go yikes! was Rachel Weisz - such a gorgeous woman but no. Just no. Awful.

Love Jennifer Lawrence, Claire Danes (wow), and I also liked Lucy Liu's, Lottapianos. I think she nailed the hair. Despite the near-wardrobe malfunction Jennifer Garner also looked great. I liked Nicole Richie's dress but I don't think it worked with her colouring. Would have been amazing on e.g. Megan Fox.

I know someone who lives near Claire Danes. Apparently in RL she's very tiny, very skinny, and goes jogging all the time. That would probably be why she pinged back so quickly.

I thought Adele looked great. And I loved Lucy Liu's dress.

I think Claire Danes dress is deceptive, it's designed to cover a (small) tummy. She's thin but it fits very well on her.

I can't look at photos Miranda Kerr without wanting to book a pilates class.

I'm watching the red carpet coverage I recorded on E last night. I record all of them, every year. I am aware that this makes me deeply, deeply sad. But I love it.

Top 3: For me Kate Hudson stole the show in McQueen, loved it. Loved Nicole Kidmans McQueen as well.. I also thought Michelle Dockery looked amazing in Alexandre Vauthier.

Bottom 3: Shockers for me were Rachel Weisz, looks horrid, like 2 dresses in 1 , I just want to get scissors and snip the bottom right off! It even hangs badly.. Not keen on Jennifer Garner's and I usually love VW, and Sienna Miller in Erdem looked appauling. YUK.

OOh and Helen Mirren rocked it too...

Taylor Swift looked the loveliest IMO. Like Nicole Kidman's dress as well.

If Rachel Weisz's had been ballerina length or full length (the lining) so you didn't have this weird sheer skirt thing going on, it would have been so much better.

My dream is to one day get to wear a fancy pants dress like that. I mean, I did for my wedding, but I want to do it AGAIN. I'm thinking of saving up to get a second wedding dress/evening gown for our tenth anniversary. Seems reasonable to me ...

Has anyone seen Julianne Hough? She always seems to wear really big, poufy dresses like she's expecting to win an Oscar or something... this year's effort
