Perfect work bag - advice?

I need a quality bag for work, preferably leather. I'm willing to spend up to £200. It needs to be big but stylish, able to hold netbook, book, paperwork, phone, makeup, purse, umbrella.

My current bag is a m&s tan leather mulberry bayswater style bag but it's not quite big enough.

Any advice? I don't live near shops so online ordering/special trip is necessary but I don't know where to start.

mimi berry the sale starts tomorrow so hopefully bringing some of their gorgeous bags down to my budget.

I highly recommend you take a look at the Mia Tui website. Mainly marketed as Mum bags but I think they are perfect for work.

Tuscany Leather sells some lovely bags - the leather is beautiful.

Here is one example.

60 litre backpack from Millets should hold everything :-)

Thanks for the great suggestions and for suggesting brands I hadn't heard of before. I like the look of the oushka bag, peony & Moore Eva, Hobbs option, and one of the mimiberry bags in particular. I liked the style of the nat et nin bag but not the colour but it doesn't seem to come in any other colours. I'm on my phone at the moment so will have a proper look and compare later once the DC are in bed.

Madamecholet - I don't like black, tan/brown is the safe option but would be up for a colour if I liked it.

Will look more at the knomo site later too. That's the bag I thought I wanted but having seen some of the less structured bags others have suggested I'm now leaning that way!

I use a large Hobo bag from House of Fraser Weekend.

I use O.S.P Osprey the Berlin. John Lewis don't have soft black leather in stock just now, but it looks alike;

Hi ChocolateCheesecake... I have the Peony&Moore EVA! My Xmas presie! It's Utterly stunning.. the chocolate leather has a really lux sheen so its DEF not 'just' a brown bag! (Looks far more expensive than it actually was! But we'll keep that a secret! Ha!)

Anyway i have used it for work - it has 2 big central compartments in which i can get my ipad in it & a big notebook, reading book, etc, etc. I have even used it as a nappy bag on the odd coffee shop run with nappies, wipes, a bottle, bib/muslin, couple of baby toys etc etc with no problem at all. There's also 2 good size outer compartments - one very unusually between the bag and your body which is perfect for things you want to keep ubber safe (though the main compartments are zipped so no fears about sneaky hands on the tube).

The only down side is Its not big enough for A4 folders and my Macbook computer won't fit in but this isn't a problem for me....

Hope this helps!! Have fun choosing!!

Modalu Pippa. I have the cream one and I am desperately trying to stop myself buying the green one too! www.modalu.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=pippa

Thanks everyone. I've ordered the peony & Moore Eva and the oushka camellia (in damson and in elephant grey) to see them. At least two will have to go back so I'm hoping there will be an obvious winner!
