Anyone done sugaring on their top lip?

I can't bear the pain of threading my top lip anymore and waxing always brings me out in spots. So I was thinking of trying sugaring and getting DH to do it for me.

Has anyone done this and got any tips?

I think I'd try a salon first ?? Isn't sugaring just a different type of wax, but still waxing? Threading brings me out in spots which is disappointing as I look so much better when it's been done, sigh ... Need it done again soon but no idea what to do Sad

The difference between waxing and sugaring is that the former removes the top layer of skin, but sugaring just sticks to the hair. I was hoping it would mean there were fewer after effects. Maybe I'll try it at the weekend when I can hide in the house if it goes wrong. Grin
