My addiction is coats and jackets. I just can't get enough of them. I just don't need any more but I do covet a leather biker jacket as I sold my old one on ebay. I would also like a puffa jacket but don't need one; not that cold anyway. Am I wierd?

Shoes are also fab but I think coats win. It used to be handbags.

I confess to being a serial buyer of Black trousers and beige bras. I always buy beige bras in case so that they dont shiw through my tops and I end up wearing them under dark coloured tops because I only have one black bra.
I really need to get some nice bras but I cannot think of another colour that will not show through clothes. Its sad because I feel very unsexy in my beige bras. Oh and they are all 'Alana' from Bravissimo. I have at least 10.

Breton tops, especially in navy & white. I think 'oh, that'd be nice & fresh for spring' then add to my collection. I have far too many now, but can't seem to resist.

Definitely shoes. Prior to children I was a lovely size 4, thin feet. 100 pairs plus, lots of Dune, LK Bennet, Emma Hope, etc. Now post children, I am a size 5, fat wide feet an, am poor and have about 5 usable pairs :( I have to be dragged away dribbling from shop windows......

shoeprincess2 · 10/01/2013 15:39

Jeans. I have every conceivable style. Bracelets too, though my friend makes them, so I use it as an excuse to support her budding business. Can I also add makeup and skincare?

cloutiedumpling · 10/01/2013 16:12

Boots. I have wide feet and big calves and find it difficult to find ones that fit so when I see some I like I buy them. I have 8 pairs.

Well, if it's any consolation, I was clearing out the tip that is DH's side of the room on the weekend and counted over 30 sweaters. And I dare not even go into the T shirt collection.

WifeofPie · 10/01/2013 16:18

Coats. They can pull any outfit together.

Cashmere sweaters. Last forever, soft and cozy, can be dressed up or down.

I live in Canada though and we have a LONG, cold winter so I need them .

MaureenShit · 10/01/2013 16:19

striped tops

Willowme · 10/01/2013 16:28

It's probably shoes for me, I have to have every style in all the main colours so for example I need ankle boots, flat boots, wedge shoes, wedge boots, pumps, flat sandals, wedge sandals, court shoe and trainers (and sometimes wedge trainers) in black, taupe, tan and navy.

MrsReiver · 10/01/2013 16:30

Boots, mostly Doc Martens, and converse trainers.

Ishtar2410 · 10/01/2013 16:33

Boots and handbags. Not strictly clothes, but earrings are something I can't resist either.

MulledWineAndScully · 10/01/2013 16:36

I bet I'm in a minority here but - Bikinis. I have an obscene amount of them, but haven't been able to wear any of them since 2010 due to pregnancy/bf'ing/post-baby-body.

I can't see me getting back in to any of them any time soon either [sigh]

I especially love reversible ones (2 for the price of 1) and they're the only thing I enjoy buying. I hate hate hate clothes/shoe shopping.

noddyholder · 10/01/2013 17:11

Hello I'm Chicky & I have a problem.....Knitwear....
I adore jumpers and cardis, and knitted dresses. I love cashmere, especially brora. and I am coverting a cardi in their sale but it costs £260...in the bloody sale!!!!
I have 70 items of knitwear. My family think I am nuts.
I love tops too. Going out tops, t shirts, white shirts, long sleeve, short sleeve, vest tops, kaftans. Have just counted and have 120 tops including everything.
maybe I can live without that Brora cardi. Mind you a couple of my jumpers are 20 years old.

superstarheartbreaker · 10/01/2013 20:04

I love jumpers too! Nothing like wrapping up on a cold day in a chunky knit. Where do you store all this stuff ladies? I'm running out of space. I need a walk in wardrobe.

My current obsession is definitely woollen dresses/sweater dresses. I'm extremely short and now large of nork after two DDs and really couldn't find anything to suit my shape until I discovered dresses with knee length boots about 3 years ago. I now have around 10 and counting. Unfortunately I haven't found any summer dresses that suit in the same way so will be hoping that winter lasts a while yet.

PretzelTime · 10/01/2013 20:32

Where do you store all this stuff ladies?
All over the place :/
Lots of things are donated too, since I buy too much.

Chugchug · 10/01/2013 20:43

Noddy I have a big thing for stripey tops too esp a Breton stripe. They go with everything!

kaiserfootmuff · 10/01/2013 20:46

french connection stuff at the moment, is costing me!

chartreuse · 10/01/2013 21:56

It used to be bretons, but I culled loads and an down to 4-5. I haven't worn one for ages though.

Blazers, ankle boots and pretty blouses are my downfall these days.

RamblingRosa · 10/01/2013 22:23

Bras. I have a bit of a general shopping problem but bras stand out as the one item I've consistently been overspending on since I was a teenager. Can't get enough of them.

I find it hard to resist quite a few things though...a nice frock, bikinis, shoes, little cardis...
