Please help me find jeans that don't fall down!

I am being driven mad by jeans that are constantly falling down. (From Gap and Next). Even with a belt, as soon as I bend down, they are halfway down my bum. I think its because all the bloody high street styles are "low rise". I also have a bit of a muffin top (thanks kids) so always have to wear long tops to cover it.

I tried on some mega expensive 7 for all mankind jeans. Ha! I am obviously far too fat (and old) to be allowed to wear designer brands. I could hardly get them over my thighs, and they were even lower rise so terrible fit. Also they were trailing on the ground, the shop assistant said you have to have them taken up to fit, I mean WTAF!

Please help, where is a sensible place to buy jeans that actually fit a 5'8", size 14, 39 year old lady? Preferably skinny but high waisted?

Have you tried the levis curve range?

Marks and Spencer, seriously. They have a range of jeans to suit different figure shapes. I have the problem that my hips are quite a lot bigger than my waist, so most jeans are always baggy round my waist and I need a belt. I just bought jeans in the 'Marilyn' cut from M&S and they fit almost like they've been tailor made, and the waist isn't 'show your thong' low, but not 'Patrick Moore' high either Smile
And only £25!

PS I'm 5'7", size 14 and aged 41.

I'm 5'8", 47 and size 14 and wear the Top shop baxter relaxed skinny. They don't fall down and are v comfy and soft and I don't think I look like mutton :D

I would love a pair of jeans that didn't require a belt. I have tried so many makes and not a single one stays put without a belt for longer than an hour. I think you have to be very slim of hip to avoid a belt. The nearest I have is a pair from Kew that were great initially, but now can only be worn beltless for an hour or so after washing.

I'm the same size, height and 47 and I love the urban outfitters jeans. I think they are the BDG Ankle Cigarette jeans....no belt and don't slip down...
