Have just discovered Babyliss Root Boost!

How have I never heard of this genius device before?

The Root Boost crimps at the roots and gives gorgeous volume to my normally fine, limp hair.

I'm a bit in case anyone spots me preening in the mirror at work.

I've got one! Haven't used it for ages though as I can't quite get it to look good - if I do it close to the top of my head you can see the crimpy bits, if I do it lower down I get an odd square head thing

How do you use it Beryl? Under the top layer of hair as if back combing?

I have one of these languishing in the back of a drawer somewhere. I never quite got on with it though, like Stinky I could either see the crimps or had a weird 'step' in my hair where I'd crimped it.

Billy yes you lift the top layer of your hair and then crimp the underneath very close to the root.

Yes, lift the top layer of styled hair, then crimp underneath. I did go a bit close the first time I used it but I do it about 2cm from the roots and it works well.

My DH said my hair looked lovely and thick.
