Red Eyes

I am lucky enough to have big blue eyes but unlucky enough that they are naturally very red, and by the evening they look awful! Nothing medical, just one of those things. Can you recommend any s&b hints tips that may help? Thnx

Me too! I just use a small amount of liner on top with some mascara (clinique glossy, looks very natural instead of thickening, etc) and occasionally, if the redness is supreme, I will put a tiny bit of kohl under bottom lid from outer edge, fading to center. Very softly and subtle though.

I haven't discovered any convincing brightening products, but I am very blonde with paler lashes. Benefit Eye Bright works ok (I have one) but not super. It is difficult to blend unless warm. I've heard a yellow pencil is ideal for this, so avoid traditional white.

Also, slices of cold cucumber have worked to tone it down for me, so worth the experiment. I often wonder if mine are allergy related for it isn't permanent, but the slightest thing makes them red: lack of sleep, a small itch, a soft breeze..
