Anyone done this? Looking to remove a fairly large mole on my chin.

Not sure if these people are any good? www.sknclinics.co.uk/treatments-and-pricing/mole-removal

Hi, I had a mole removed from my chin a couple of months ago. I used these people. www.cosmedics.co.uk/skin-treatments/mole-removal

The doctor removed it with a scalpel and "dug" it out so I have a bit of a hole. I am using Kelo-cote for the scar.

I had a very prominent mole on chin (just below bottom lip - it was gross ) removed by Angelica Kavouni in Harley Street - same method as poster above - 6 months later you would never have known I had it. Aftercare is very, very important to the outcome I think.

It should never be " dug out".

They make a cut so it's curved then stitch the edges. If it's done well by a plastic surgeon you should not be left with any scar.

It's best to see your GP for advice on a local surgeon, or choose your local private hospital and search for plastic surgeons- many have websites.

How much is this procedure?

I paid over almost £600- which was dr's fee and use of hospital theatre. Mole was on my lower lip touching the lip line.
