I'm trying to wear it a bit more but sometimes I just can't be arsed. I do look better when I have it on though

Eyeliner and mascara most days here too.

BananaPie · 06/01/2013 11:40

Tinted moisturiser every day. Mascara and sometimes eyeshadow if going out / going to work.

ifancyashandy · 06/01/2013 11:46

Every day: primer, various foundations or tinted moisturisers depending on skin, concealer, highlighter, blusher, bronzer (a very light one for contouring), eyeliner. I have eyelash extensions so don't need mascara. And lippy or balm.

Eyeshadow added for evening.

AgathaF · 06/01/2013 12:01

Everyday. I don't look like me without it Grin

MarshaBrady · 06/01/2013 12:10

Wear mascara and eyeliner, just on top bit rather than all round, nearly every day.

When I go out (and if I do some work) I add a light foundation and light blusher, muted lipstick.

Wishfulmakeupping · 06/01/2013 12:21

Every single day whether I'm just staying in that day or not, but obv only a little if I'm not doing much if I'm out and about I'll do my full make up. Would like to not do it sometimes but I look awful without it and get constant comments of how ill I look so I just slap it on lol

polyhymnia · 06/01/2013 12:23

About once a week - except for my By Terry rose lip balm which i use every day and is very slightly pink. Wouldn't dream of putting makeup on to go to local shops, etc.

My complexion actually looks better and younger without makeup. I don't really have shadows under my eyes or very uneven skin tone, and don't usually need blusher as I have quite a high colour. Bright lipsticks and heavy eye makeup make me look ancient!

Having said this, I do spend lots on - and meticulously use - good skin care products. And I do have my lashes and brows tinted reguarly. And stylish Tom Ford glasses for non contact lenses days. And good haircut and colour.

If going out, eg to lunch or evening with friends, I just use a bit of tinted moisturiser to even out any variations in skin tone, a touch of cream blusher if i'm really washed-out/winter pale looking, some neutral cream eye shadow, and a sheer lip tint as close to the colour of my own lips as possible. For a party, might add some of the most natural-looking, non-spiky mascara available if my lash tint is wearing off.

sarahlundssweater · 06/01/2013 12:23

Concealer, blusher & mascara everyday. Without blusher I look like a cadaver.

juicychops · 06/01/2013 20:41

i didn't expect so many people to say they wear make up every single day - i must look like a right mess compared to half the population!!

i really do NOT look good without make up. Right, starting tomorrow im going to start making a bit more effort to make myself look a bit more 'alive' with a bit of make up. i put myself to shame!

My 'quick' face can be done in about 5 mins juicy think concealer, powder, blusher, eyebrows filled in (if you do that) and bit of mascara
Makes a massive difference to me.

ggirl · 06/01/2013 22:47

daily , love putting it on

TheSandstoneCat · 06/01/2013 22:55

Every day - it's part of who I am! I wouldn't leave the house with no clothes on and, for me, it really is the same thing. Not huge amounts but a little, judiciously applied.

PavlovtheCat · 06/01/2013 22:56

once a week maybe. Like the idea of daily, but never get around to it, I prioritise other things - coffee mostly Grin

QuinnFabray · 07/01/2013 10:42

I didn't used to wear any, up until 4 or 5 years ago. Have gradually introduced it, and now I do a full face every day. Quick face takes 5 minutes, full on takes no more than 15. It's as much a part of my routine as brushing my teeth, and I love it.

Every day where there is slightest inkling of having to leave house or be seen by anyone other than DH & puppy monster.

Basic (work, weekends with no plans etc): under eye concealer, blusher, eyebrow pencil, mascara. Got it down to under 2mins!

Meeting friends/feel like making effort: add foundation & eyeshadow

Night out: add eyeliner, more mascara & sometimes lippy.

Very worried new bubba is going to mess with well oiled routine & will spend next few years make-up free & scaring small children!

MissBoPeep · 07/01/2013 11:32

Always . Every day. In the house as well. It just makes me feel good to look better.
I can't understand women who don't TBH because almost everyone looks better with a little.
I have good skin but am deathly pale and have sparse eye lashes. A little light foundation, blusher and mascara and lipgloss make me look so much better, IMO.

CandyCrush · 07/01/2013 12:41

Every day. Even do my hair and make up for the school run (ulterior motive there though).

Only don't do make up when I'm at home all day ...

MrsBucketxx · 07/01/2013 12:44

When I go out of the house, if I'm in with the kids then I don't.

So its varies,

BackforGood · 07/01/2013 13:26

About once in 18months ish

FellowshipOfFineFellows · 07/01/2013 14:05

Only if I'm going out. If I'm indoors (like today) I refuse to bother with it.

auldspinster · 07/01/2013 16:59

Every work day - leave house barefaced just after 6 and put mascara and eyeliner on at my desk when I arrive at work. If I'm staying in I won't bother but do the full works if out in evening or weekend.

mampam · 07/01/2013 20:53

Pretty much every day for the simple reason that I look as rough as rats without it!! Smile I have very dark circles under my eyes. I am overweight and sometimes it feels as if I'm putting on a brave face by painting on the war paint.

EllenParsons · 07/01/2013 21:32

Every day. It's just part of my routine. I don't feel finished if I go out without it, almost feel a bit undressed. That said there is the odd time I don't wear it if having an extremely lazy day at home or don't go much further than the corner shop. I am not that precious about people seeing me with a bare face, e.g. staying over at family or friends houses I will sit makeup-less having a coffee with them in the morning but I just would not choose to go out like that. I do look much better with make up on.

zenoushka · 14/01/2013 15:39

Only when going out. When I know I'm not going to be leaving the house I never wear any. Feels nice to let my skin breathe. But like I said if I'm going out I always wear tinted moisturiser, eyeliner, mascara and blusher.
