Bobbi Brown foundations- opinions?

I'm a bit disillusioned. I've used the moisture rich one for over a year but find it slides off my face and doesn't cover well- more like a tinted moisturiser. I have normal skin- not at all oily.

The long last one was incredibly matte- I took it back and got a refund.

The stick foundation is ok for touching up over a day- on top of something else, but it does drag your skin to apply it.

I love the colours- one of them suits me as I am pale- but the formulations seem all over the place.

Anyone else- and have any recommendations for something v pale?

Do you use a primer first, before applying the makeup? It makes a big difference, I find.

But then......I don't use Bobbi Brown.......so maybe I shouldn't have replied. Wink

I use the luminous moisturising one & the stick and have no problems but I don't need too much cover. I use the stick under my eyes and a sponge with the moisturising one elsewhere. I set it with the powder and it generally lasts me all day. I have quite dry skin so apply moisturiser 1st then leave for 10 mins before doing foundation.
I love BB make up generally but I've also not found many others that do good pale foundations. Prescriptives used to be good but now impossible to get.
